About The Maker

Hi, I'm Monica, the maker behind Blooming Lotus Alchemy.

What began with a love for creating beautiful things has grown into a collection of soaps, candles, fragrance, and adornments made to bring a little more intention to everyday life.

I'm a mother of two girls, and while I love the fullness and beautiful chaos of family life, I've also learned how much I value the quieter moments in between—the moments when I can light a candle, put on some music and paint, sit in meditation, or disappear into a good fantasy book.

Those simple rituals are a big part of what inspired Blooming Lotus Alchemy.

I believe there is something special about taking an ordinary moment and making it your own. A long shower at the end of the day. Lighting a candle once the house becomes quiet. A familiar scent filling your space. Adorning yourself with something you love.

Everything I create is made in small batches here in the Virgin Islands, inspired by nature, scent, ritual, and the simple pleasure of transforming the ordinary into something a little more special.

Thoughtfulness extends to what goes into my products, too. I care deeply about the ingredients and materials I choose and about creating pieces that I feel good bringing into my own home and sharing with yours.
